Controlling Powdery Mildew and Mold

A Home Remedy



Molds and mildew need to have a certain pH level to survive.

  The baking soda in this mix  will temporarily change the pH level of the plant or soil surface,

making it more difficult for molds and mildew to survive.

Mix together:

1 TB vegetable oil

1 TB baking soda

1 TB Ivory dishwashing soap

1 gallon of water

Pour some of this mix into a spray bottle

set on "mist",

and mist the affected plants.

(I use a 16 ounce (.53 litre) spray bottle)
