Welcome to my website. I am an artist who lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I obtained a degree in horticulture in order to enhance my botanical painting and illustration. I also have an interest in vintage sewing machines. I feel preserving our American sewing history is important, especially as we move into more and more of a global economy. I often use treadle or hand crank sewing machines, not only because it is fun :), but I feel conserving electrical energy is as important as preserving clean air, water conservation, recycling materials, and saving our forests. These may sound like diverse topics, but in actuality, they all tie together: my love of art and horticulture has brought me to a deeper understanding of the role of plants, trees, water and energy on our planet.
